Big Red Basketball Team Spends Time Together
Off the Court
Early in the morning on July 28, 2005 members of the MBA JV and Varsity
Basketball teams piled into two of the school’s buses and headed
to Rock Island State Park for two days of rest and relaxation on the
water. Players and coaches alike took part in inter-tubing, water-skiing,
and jet-skiing. The day culminated with an elaborate steak dinner prepared
by several MBA fathers who joined the team on the trip. Before returning
to Nashville the following day, Coach Anglin, Coach McMahan, and Coach
Was challenged some of the team’s players by jumping off an automobile
bridge into the water some thirty-five feet below. Despite a tubing
mishap involving two Big Red players, a good time was had by all. The
team would like to extend a special thanks to Mr. Granberry and his
family for their generosity and hospitality. |
